How does the color extraction work?
The tool analyzes your image directly in the browser using the Canvas API — no image is ever uploaded to any server. It samples pixels, groups similar colors, and surfaces the most dominant ones.
How many colors can be extracted?
Up to 8 dominant colors are extracted per image. The percentage shown next to each color indicates how prominent that color is in the image.
What image formats are supported?
Any format your browser can display: PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, SVG, and more. Large images are scaled down automatically for fast processing.
